No- Bake rava mango chocolate cake with 3 layers made with fresh mangoes, oreo biscuit,rava & chocolate it's yum π ...The most important part is you have to wait for 5-6 hrs to set in the fridge...I usually make it up the night before & serve it the next day.
When i was watching making this recipe in a cookery show i was amazed & was eager to try it coz it was unlike other cakes the only change is i have made it with mango flavor, when i finally made this fridge cake i was puffed up with satisfaction!!! It can be be a party dessert & it will be a big hit with kids!!!

Ingredients :
- 200 gm oreo biscuits.
- 70 gm butter.
- 300 gm / 1 & 1/2 cup rava.
- 2 & 1/2 cup water.
- 1 cup milk.
- 2 tbsp ghee.
- 40 gm butter.
- 1 & 1/2 cup ripe mango puree.
- 200 gm dark chocolate.
- 1/8 cup cream.
- 1 cup sugar or according to your taste.
- Pinch of salt.
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder.
- Lightly grease a spring form cake tin & keep aside.
- Melt the butter & keep aside.
- First step is to crush the oreo biscuits if you have a food processor, pulse the biscuits to a breadcrumb consistency....If you don't have a food processor then put the biscuits in a clean plastic bag & crush with a rolling pin..
- Second step pour melted butter in the powdered biscuits & combine well.
- Add the biscuit crumbs in the cake tin to make a crumb base..
- The base- Flatten the crumbs evenly around the tin π with a back of a spoon or you can use a spatula to get an even finish refrigerate for at least 1/2 an hr to set....This is the first layer
- Next let's make the second layer it's similar to making mango sheera except don't make it very sweet..Take a pan add rava( use the upma rava) ghee & roast till you get a lovely aroma it might take about 5-6 min.
- Meanwhile combine the water, milk & boil it.
- When the rava is roasted add butter & slowly pour in the hot combined water & milk & keep on stirring to avoid lumps.
- Halfway through add the mango puree & sugar ( if the mango is too sweet you can lessen the sugar) cardamom powder & keep stirring. Avoid lumps.
- Keep stirring till it becomes thick,off the flame & let it cool slightly.
- Take the cake tin from the fridge & add the rava mango mixture on top of the crumb base.
- Spread the mixture evenly π & lightly press the mixture & keep it back in the fridge to set.
- Next make the chocolate sauce melt the chocolate in a microwave for 1-2 min. Remove & mix well with the cream till glossy...
- When it's warm pour over the πMango mixture & tap it slightly to spread evenly,allow to set in the fridge for 5 to 6 hrs or more.
- After all the effort be careful when u remove from the spring form tin make sure it's completely set.
- Once the mango chocolate cake is well set remove from the cake tin place it on a plate & sprinkle with icing sugar & powdered oreo biscuits. It's yum !!! π
