This is another summer specialty Jack fruit pakoda...Thinly sliced jackfruit & onions coated in spicy rice & maida batter deep fried to a crispy pakoda..I suggest you try this snack before the jack fruit season gets over.

- 200 gm raw jackfruit peel remove seed & measure
- 1 tsp salt
- Few chopped coriander leaves & curry leaves.
- Pinch of asafoetida.
- 1/4 tsp sonth (ginger powder)
- 1 tsp chilly powder or according to taste.
- 2 minced green chilies.
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder.
- 1/2 tsp jeera / cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp chat masala powder.
- 1/2 cup rice flour.
- 1/2 cup maida.
- oil for deep frying.
Method :
- Cut jackfruit into thin slices wash & keep aside.
- Combine all the ingredients except rice flour & maida ( all purpose flour).
- Place in a bowl mix well cover & keep aside to marinade for at least 1/2 an hr.
- Add the rice flour, maida & required amount of water to make a thick batter mix well with your hands.
- Heat oil for deep frying When hot keep the flame on medium & add a spoonful of the batter you can add 4 to 5 pakoda at a time ( Do not over crowd) fry on both sides till crisp & golden brown.
- Remove them on a kitchen paper towels for excess oil to be absorbed.
- Serve the crispy hot yummy jackfruit pakoda with tomato sauce 😋
